Montepulciano D’Abruzzo Villa Bizarre “Roccastella” 2007
ITALY

Ruby red in colour with hints of violet, the Roccastella has an intense aroma of ripe red fruit. With some delicate spice and balsamic notes. The Palate shows juicy red fruit character with some Savoury flavours and soft tannins - very typical of The Montepulciano grape from this area.

This Malbec is bright cherry red with violet hue. It shows intense aromas of ripe red summer fruit, Herbs and subtle warm spice. The palate is medium Bodied, rounded yet fresh with soft, supple tannins.

From a boutique, high quality producer this is an Outstanding Barolo. The nose is intense with scents of roses, vanilla, roasted hazelnuts, liquorice, tobacco And cinnamon. The palate is elegant and austere  with A good blend of intense fruit and oak.

The region Gers is in the Cotes de Gascogne, South West France. Pale in colour, hints of Yellow and green. Complex floral nose, light and fresh in the mouth, long aromatic finish. This wine has fine balance and good, fresh, honest fruit.

Sauvignon Blanc Panul 2009

This little cracker is pale lemon in colour with tints of green. On the nose, this wine is Aromatic, offering fresh, floral and citric notes. The palate shows more of the same, with an Additional note of tropical fruit and bright, fresh acidity.

Vermentino Moris Farms 2005

The Vermentino grapes are grown at the Massa Maritime estate where cool sea breezes allow for a fresh, crisp acidity and intense perfume. Notes Of apricots, pears and white flowers on the nose. The palate is crisp and delicate, again with notes of pears and honey, and a long structured finish.

Clear, bright and pale lemon with tints of green, This wine has beautiful stone and grass aromas with complex minerality underneath. On the Palate, the wine has a delicious, grassy bite with plenty of cool Sauvignon fruit and a pleasing touch of minerality in the long finish.

Chablis Domaine Vincent Dampt 2008

The Dampt family has a long tradition of wine Makers, with both Vincent’s father, grandfather and great-grandfather owning estates in Chablis. He began working with his father in 2002 and created his own tiny estate in 2004. The wine has a wonderful intensity and purity, with classic flinty minerality and perfect balance.

Made from Cabernets Franc and sauvignon along with Tannat, Duras, Gamay and Nagrette this has a lovely shiny salmon pink colour. The nose is full of red fresh fruits and wild strawberries. Fresh on the palate, round and well balanced with supple tannins.

Perrier-Jouet Brut NV

This fine champagne spends a minimum of two years ageing on its lees, and you can tell that  immediately from its bright, straw gold hue. As the all of the houses range, there are wonderfully fine, consistent beads of bubbles working their way to the surface, releasing deliciously floral, slightly honeyed fruit aromas when they get there. In the mouth, it explodes with a combination of fresh citrus fruits and white peaches, flavours that linger for some time thanks to a racy zip of acidity that gives it length and added complexity.

A very pale, delicate rose with a Pinot Noir dominated blend. It is a delightful, pale pink in colour, and the fresh berry fruit which through on the nose and palate makes it an attractive accompaniment to food, as well as a delicious aperitif.
