Restaurant 65 is conveniently located on the main High Street in the heart of historic Hemel Hempstead Old Town, (almost opposite St Mary Church).
The Restaurant has seating for up to 30 guests and provides a smart, relaxed and informal atmosphere in which to dine and enjoy first class modern cuisine of the highest quality together with excellent wine and fantastic hospitality.
We are the perfect setting for a romantic evening with a loved one, celebrations with family, friends and work colleagues or discreet corporate entertaining.

Grant Young (Chef Patron)
Grant completed his apprenticeship at The Goring Hotel. A family owned 5 star hotel situated just behind Buckingham Palace and rated in the "Worlds top 100 hotels". With a very distinguished history for being the choice of royalty from many countries, it is now in it's 5th generation of hands on family management and control under the direction of Mr George Goring MBE.
During this time Grant attended Westminster Kingsway College of Catering and hospitality on a day release basis where he attained distinctions upon completion.
With nearly twenty years experience in all areas of the catering industry, from 5 star hotels and top London restaurants to exclusive private health resorts (including Champneys) and high class private dinner parties, you can be assured that the food served at Restaurant 65 is of the very highest standard.
Using only the freshest and highest quality of seasonal ingredients, treated with respect and prepared with care and attention, cooked with passion and precision and presented with style and simplicity, Grant creates a regularly changing menu of delicious, nutritious, exciting and healthy dishes to stunning effect.
Having worked under some of the countries top chefs (some with Michelin Stars) Grant possesses a very high personal standard. Together with a wealth of knowledge in many styles of cuisine, a thorough understanding of special dietary requirements, food allergies and intolerance's you can assured of a memorable fine dining experience not to be matched elsewhere in Hemel Hempstead.
Grant likes to follow the principles of "Fresh is Best", "Quality over Quantity" and "Moderation and Variety".He say's: "No matter how technically good a chef is, it is not possible to create dishes of the highest quality without using the best and freshest ingredients that are in season".

Grant is also holds a qualification in cuisine, gym and fitness and martial arts instruction and has worked as an associate chef lecturer at Cassio Campus.
